Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions apply to all quotations, orders and installations provided by Shutters by Balaz.

1. Quotations

• All quotations are valid for 14 days unless otherwise stated.
• Prices include VAT where applicable.
• Final pricing may be subject to confirmation following professional measurement.

2. Orders & Deposit

• A 50% deposit is required to confirm any made-to-measure order.
• Production will not begin until the deposit has been received.
• The remaining 50% balance is payable prior to installation.

Deposits are non-refundable once production has commenced due to the bespoke nature of the product.

3. Measurement

• Initial quotations may be based on approximate dimensions provided by the customer.
• Final measurements will be confirmed during a professional survey.
• Once final measurements are approved, the order becomes binding.

4. Manufacturing & Lead Times

• Lead times vary depending on material and supplier availability.
• Estimated lead times are provided in good faith but are not legally binding.

5. Installation

• The customer must ensure reasonable access to the property for installation.
• The installation area should be clear of obstacles prior to our arrival.
• We are not responsible for pre-existing structural issues.

6. Cancellations

• Orders may be cancelled prior to production starting.
• Once production has begun, cancellation may not be possible due to bespoke manufacturing.

7. Warranty

• All products are covered by manufacturer warranty.
• Warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse, improper cleaning or structural movement.

8. Limitation of Liability

We shall not be liable for indirect or consequential losses. Our liability shall not exceed the total value of the order.

9. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
